Great video. I used to start all my seeds in trays but now only do peppers because they take forever. Slugs are so bad here up north and they usually take them out before they mature. Excellent way to protect them and get them strong. God bless!

Rice is inflammatory. If we’re going to give them the same things in the same measure as cheap kibble manufacturers, why even bother? And This is going to create some diabetic dogs. It’s ridiculous. A little rice is fine. But carbs in this amount, no. Cheap fillers is a no.

great videos sweetie. im in texas hill country on a few acres. growing several veggies in an open caged greenhouse with shade cloth but the darn heat is still impacting everything. the wildflowers on our property helped bring in the pollinators so everything is doing good except for the heat. all the storms wiped out alot of my seedlings but praise god i re-planted so im getting a late start. try planting a bunch of wildflowers around your greenhouse, it will bring the bees close and keep them close.

We buy our cow from our daughter in laws father in SD. We visit family when we pick up our cow. Our tomatoes are the only tomatoes I will eat. I have cucumbers and zucchini this yr as well and our sweet corn have ears on them growing right now. I have made a wonderful seasoned tomatoe sauce with my paste tomatoes and another batch to be preserved on Saturday as more mature. Thank you for your seeds. Just made stuffed peppers with our cow meat and peppers from our garden. Eggs from our chickens. Azure Standard has clean products for people to purchase online as well. I made alot of canned tomatoes and salsa last year. Beef broth from our cow bones. Love the idea of clean eating!

Couple questions: Have you ever used cider vinegar instead? Google says it’s ok to substitute but I was wonder if I should increase/decrease sugar or salt since it does taste different than plain white vinegar. Do you have to use canning salt or is coarse or table salt ok? Also, after the jars have sealed, do you remove the rings before storing? I’ve seen others do that and not sure why they do it…maybe just to reuse the rings? Thanks for showing the steps plain and easy, it’s my 1st time canning by myself 😳

Can you use a flavored greek yogurt? I would think any dark berry yogurt (greek) could be beneficial for their flavanoids?!

Why 48 hours? What if the person not home can’t trust leaving the croc pot on. Can it be turned off leaving home?

I have holes too from them.. as of now they aren’t eating my plants too bad bc I use leaf and grass clippings as mulch, but i suspect this is just allowing their population to explode and eventually they will go after the live stuff

Our last golden had cancer & our lil chi had liver failure. The vet said put our lil girl on a supplement + boiled chicken, rice, & green beans in equal parts. The vet was surprised in two weeks, from near death, our girl had improved labs, & lived another year with improved functioning. She passed at 16 yrs. Our golden now, only eats food i make at home. I even prep & freeze her food when we travel. Excellent health now at 7.5 yrs!

I am SO glad Jill had me get one of those. It has been a HUGE blessing for me. Rolling up hoses in Florida, stinks! And they are always in the way. I have had people come by and take pictures wanting to get one. 😄😄

Looks good! We do something similar, but buy 10 lb bags of chicken leg quarters (CHEAP) for the meat. We can put all ten pounds on cookie sheets and bake for 1 hour at 400 degrees, then cool and de bone. We add rice, greens, sweet potatoes, pumpkin and about a dozen boiled eggs which we run through the processor - shells and all. We usually get the little steamer bags of mixed peas and carrots and broccoli. It saves us a lot on food costs, but yes, it is a chore.

Snap! Same here, same type of recipe/considerations. Goodness knows what’s in the commercial brands , but you can bet it’s not as good as home cooking. Well done!
